Lord of Darkness, soon enough you'll be among us. Just a little more... HAHAHAHA!
~ Letícia's introduction, claiming to bring Valron back.

Letícia Azevedo, known in the story as Letícia only, is the secondary antagonist of rezendeevil's 2019 fantasy YouTube series Escola de Bruxos (Wizards Academy).

She is a character based on Harry Potter's Bellatrix Lestrange, she is known to be one of the most powerful witches in the world of the wizards, as well as one of the most dangerous. She is Valron's sidekick and his most faithful servant.

She was portrayed by the youtuber of the same name Letícia Azevedo.

Her Evil Ranking[]

What Makes Her Evil?[]

  • Since Professor Carol claims to have known Letícia for a long time, this implies that their bond they likely had in the past was broken from the point Letícia turned to the dark side.
    • Due to her behavior towards Carol, there are chances that Letícia willingly chose to embrace the dark side and forbidden magic for her power-hungry desires.
  • She is known to be amongst the most powerful dark wizards, most likely having committed various crimes with them.
  • She is devoted to helping Valron in his dark goals and wants to do whatever it takes to please him, even if it means cause the deaths of multiple innocents while taking notorious pleasure in her crimes.
  • She kidnaps Virgínia, a student at Wizards Academy, and keeps her hostage in order to lure Carol to her and steal her wand. The worst about it is that it is revealed later on that Virgínia has also been killed, either by Letícia or Valron, before or after she battled Carol.
  • After luring Carol, she ambushes and kills her to steal her wand and use it to revive Valron, never feeling any remorse for it.
    • Her "apology" as she takes Carol's wand is only mockery and gloating that she was able to defeat her, and is not genuine in the slightest.
  • She performs a ritual which successfully gives Valron a new corporeal form, bringing him back to life as a result which makes her indirectly responsible for everything Valron did afterwards.
  • When she sets out to gather Valron's followers back together, it is implied she obliged to Valron's orders of killing those who would refuse to get back at serving him. Eventually, she succeeds at not only gathering his followers but also at making the whole magic world aware of his return.
  • While she gets tortured by Valron for failing at her first attempt to gather his followers back together, such a moment isn't portrayed sympathetically nor does it make her a scapegoat given she had killed Professor Carol and was also responsible for the death of Virgínia, who was just a young student. This can also be seen as cathartic karma as she brought this to herself since she was the one to bring Valron back to life in the first place despite knowing of his vile personality.
  • She kidnaps the three remaining students from Carol's republic, Rezende, João and Ana, paralyzing and taking their wands from them so they were defenseless against Valron when he went to taunt them.
  • As per Valron's orders, she goes to the forbidden forest to kill whoever was after Valron's book and attempts to kill João to prevent him from destroying it.
  • When she loses the battle for João, she cowardly tries talking her way out of her imminent punishment by saying they could talk things out, which João thankfully doesn't buy and defeats her by petrifying her on the spot.
    • While it's possible she is trapped in a fate worse than death by being still alive and conscious while petrified, it is not sympathetic as she deserved it for all her crimes against the Wizards Academy and in assisting Valron in his dark goals.

What Makes Her Standard?[]

  • Even though she is stated to be one of the most powerful and dangerous dark wizards, she suffers from too much Fridge Horror as it is never clearly stated what kind of crimes she committed in the past nor how far she went with them.
  • Her worst actions only amount to generic kill-the-heroes villainy while having only two confirmed kills, with the second one not confirmed to have been her but still being highly likely. Besides, they were all done under Valron's orders, which by default makes her fail the heinous standards massively to him.
  • She genuinely loyal towards Valron, visibly expressing how much she genuinely likes him and wishes to see him happy by helping him accomplish his goals. Two things that emphasize this are when she is shown being upset and regretful at failing in her first attempt to gather Valron's followers after she revived him, and when she keeps serving him even after he tortured her for failing in said mission as though nothing had happened.

Trivia[]

  • Letícia was originally on the Near Pure Evil wiki due to her sadistic behavior being rather provocative, but after further analysis, it was concluded her actions weren't heinous enough to at least pass the baseline, with her personality and behavior making her more of a Hate Sink instead. Additionally, she was moved to Villainous Benchmark until the criteria was adjusted to exclude bog-standard villains, which she happens to be.
